Barry Calvert nLearning-developer of anti-plagiarism software, Turnitin has developed software to express it can detect the authenticity of the works of the students. At least the software has been used for more than 90 schools and 130 colleges.
Turnitin is used to cross check the work of children's online materials. Barry says that young children should be sensitive about the use of online materials as reference sources, not just take pieces of text from the internet and claiming it as their own.
Matching it, Dan Rigby Manchester University economics professor revealed that although the sample used for testing the software spelled out small, but the results are very good. He finds approximately 45 percent of students cheating during the task, or even exams.
During the year 2009, known as 4400 students and students affected by sanctions because of plagiarism cases. "We must tell the students to understand that the Internet is not the only source, and students should actually work themselves to find other sources are not the same with the Internet," said Calvert.
