Reported from Computerworld, Monday (14/02/2011), Galaxy S II uses Gingerbread aka Android OS version 2.3. Meanwhile, by 4.3-inch screen is equipped with Super Amoled Plus technology, which claimed more brilliant than the previous generation.
Behind every top-class features, this smartphone are very slim, even claimed to be the thinnest in the world. Thickness is only 8.49 mm and weighs just 4.09 ounces.
Just as Google Nexus S which is also they produced, Galaxy S II is equipped with NFC features a.k.a Near Field Communication. This facility allows transactions of payment via mobile phone.
New things can we meet at the Galaxy S II are:
- Wi-Fi Direct that allows us to exchange files with Wi-Fi without the need to connect to a router or similar to Bluetooth but reach further and faster.
- Samsung Kies 2.0 & Kies Air
Applications Kies 2.0 enables back up and synchronize data via Wi-Fi while Kies Air can control the data through a web browser.
- Full HD Recording & Playback
As with all mobile phones with Dual Core processors, we can record video with a Full HD (1080p) format with a speed of 30 fps and simultaneously watching a video of Full HD
- NFC (Near Field Communication)
