The World’s Thinnest Tablet From Samsung

Samsung officially released tablet computers Galaxy Tab version 8.9-inch screen. Another surprise was also presented by the South Korean vendors is with re-designing Galaxy Tab 10.1 form where it’s now claimed as the world's thinnest tablet, defeating iPad 2.

Galaxy Tab 10.1 is now 2.3 mm thinner than the first version that was introduced at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2011. It
s thickness is only 8.6 mm, thinner than Apple iPad 2, which reached 8.8 mm. The specifications identical to the first version.

Galaxy Tab 8.9

New champion Galaxy Tab 8.9 which was announced simultaneously. This product relies on powerful 1GHz processor dual core and Honeycomb Android operating system. And its thickness was the same as version 10.1
where is only 8.6 mm which makes it touted as the thinnest tablet.

Galaxy Tab has a 8.9 LCD TFT display with 1200x800 resolution, slightly higher than the 7 inch version. Samsung make it available in 3 versions of storage, 16GB, 32GB and 64GB.

Other features such as WiFi, 3G, Bluetooth, USB 2.0, rear 3MP camera with flash and front camera 2MP resolution. These tablets also support Flash 10.2.

Samsung has a strong belief that consumers are very picky about the size of their tablets. Because not all consumers one-size-fits-all. This of course seemed sarcastic mindset to iPad, Xoom, and others.

But the new Galaxy
new Tab 10.1 is not only lightweight and Tab Galaxy 8.9 is not just a new size. Both will incorporate new service called Samsung Music Hub, which is a direct challenge to iTunes.

On price, Wifi version of Galaxy Tab 10.1 will be available at a price approximately USD499 (16GB) for USD 599 (32GB). While the WiFi version of the Galaxy Tabs 8.9 will be priced at USD469 (16GB) to USD599 (32GB), and will be released on 8 June.
