Olipad, First Tablet From Italia

Known by the name of Olivetti, the son of Italian telecommunications company Telecom Italia is reportedly has managed to gain recognition in the IT industry of the newest product line Olipad tablet recently.

With the package screen size of 10 inches, this tablet look similar to the most models of other similar tablets which have been officially released so far, particularly when reviewed in terms of hardware.

After its participation in CeBIT exhibition some time ago, this Olipad touted as the first tablet products made in Italy which supports NVIDIA Tegra 2 SoC (System on Chip). Even reportedly the chip that used has been supported by the ARM architecture and the same platform used by the most electronic devices of this kind.

On the other hand, the olipad tablet is also using the Android 2.2 operating system, and to support the business, inside it was also equipped with the existence of Warehouse Application software which designed specifically for the first time.

Meanwhile, Olipad also has the other quality features such as touch screen 10.1 inches with 1024x600 pixels that can play video with 1080p Full HD quality, 1.3 megapixel webcam, WiFi, Bluetooth, 3G, USB and HDMI in it.

As for the price itself, the prices at the market is about 399 EUR, and the marketing carried out by Telecom Italia with ADSL package and TIM cost rates.

With the launch of this OliPad, it just shown that Olivetti has positioned itself in the market software solutions and IT services which marked by its integration of hardware products, services and sophisticated applications.
