Windows 7 launched on before 2010
Do you like this story?
More juice about the Windows Vista successor known simply as 7 for now, is that its confirmed by Microsoft that 7 is to be released in 2010. Furthermore that it's reached Milestone 1 of its software production pipeline. Microsoft has previously said that the Vista sequel would arrive approximately three years after the debut of Vista; since business clients received Vista early; however, it was unclear if this would mean late 2009 or sometime in 2010. The not so favorable sales of Vista could bring the release date for the 7 even sooner. Let's just hope it doesn't turn out to need even more hungry PC resources like Vista, the sole reason I love my XP professional and am not parting with it till something really better comes around.
