Saleen S5S Raptor Auto Show at New York

Although the Saleen S5S Raptor will officially be exposed tomorrow at the New York Auto Show, we bring to this beautiful beast in its best poses. Developed in partnership between Saleen and specialty builder ASC, the car is scores well in its specs as well as looks. The aluminum chassis 2-seater can get from 0-60 in a supercar-standard 3.2 seconds.Powered by a supercharged 5.0L engine and running off E85 ethanol, the S5S Raptor produces 650 hp and 630 lb-ft. of torque, allowing the car to race from 0-60 mph in 3.2 seconds. While the car’s design isn’t extremely unique, the car does sport some aggressive features, like a large front grille and 20-inch rims.
