The big thing about the Panasonic LUMIX DMC-FX500 camera is that it is the company's first touchscreen camera. It features a 3-inch touchscreen LCD with 25mm ultra-wide-angle Leica DC lens and HD video capabilities. Specs include 5x optical zoom and 10.1 megapixels, advanced Intelligent Auto technologies, hybrid control system that combines joystick control with touch-screen operation, manual exposure mode, Auto Focus (AF) tracking, Digital Red-eye Correction, Intelligent Exposure feature, MEGA O.I.S, Intelligent Scene Selector, Intelligent ISO, Face Detection, 50 MB of internal memory is built-in to back up the SDHC/SD Memory Card recording and copying, and lastly the ability to shoot HD video (1280 x 720p) content and still photos with a 16:9 aspect ratio.
