Canon SD790 and SD770 Powershot
Do you like this story?
Enhancing their Powershot line, Canon has announced two new cameras that offer all style and no shake. The Powershot SD790 (IXUS 90 in Europe) and the Powershot SD770 (IXUS 85 in Europe) share the same 10MP sensor and 3x (35-105mm equiv.) zoom lens. What sets them apart is the LCD size (3.0" PureColor LCD II on the SD790, 2.5" PureColor LCD II on the SD770) and the design. The solid, chiseled Digital IXUS 90 IS features a powerful shape and seamless build; while the soft minimalism of the Digital IXUS 85 IS reflects a glimmering, understated elegance. The common features include Canon's lens-shift type optical Image Stabilizer, Motion Detection Technology, Face Detection Technology with Face Select & Track and Face Detection White Balance, DIGIC III with Noise Reduction Technology, Automatic Red-Eye Correction in shooting and playback, 19 shooting modes including new Sunset mode and My Colors photo effects, Extensive movie options including VGA 30fps, Long Play and Time Lapse movie modes.
